Claiborne Canine practices positive reinforcement training techniques. We also believe the canine training process should include corrections and redirections for safety. It is important to keep in mind that each breed of dog carries its’ own motivations, and often training modalities. Together Sean and the client find the best learning style for each canine to have complete success.

In-home training offers great benefits as it is where the canine is expected and desired to exhibit optimal behaviors. Claiborne Canine encourages client participation and involvement at the level of their comfort and desire. Keeping one goal in mind, to provide the pinnacle training experience for both the client and canine.

Home is where the heart is
A client's home is the most effective training space, as it is the space the canine is expected and desired to exhibit optimal behaviors.

In-home training offers the benefit and training quality of an elite board & train and TWICE the training time for the same cost of a board & train.
At Claiborne Canine, the cost is 100% for training, and is purely time spent with the client and the canine. At a board & train facility, the client pays around 50% for actual training time, and 50% for the kennel fee. This cost comparison is simply to share the experience attained while in this industry.
Training on-the-go!
We understand that many client's have busy and active lifestyles, and that you may need mobile alternatives to home training. We embrace the family environment and are happy to meet your at your location of choice, such as a sport's game, park, family outing, or any other venue.
Prices
1 hour session: $80
5 hour package: $350 ($50 off)
10 hour package: $700 ($100 off)
*An additional cost may apply for clients that live 15 minutes or more from West Nashville

We recommend this specific E-collar for the following reasons:

2. Provides very subtle static delivery which is extremely important for effective use

Clients do not have to buy/use this collar, but we strongly recommend it. The potential problem with cheaper collars is the static delivery is often too strong and the dog will simply shut down and the E-collar can't even be used. We recommend using the static mode because the vibration mode typically stresses the dog out.
